On Tuesday, March 7, scientists from the University of Latvia (LU), Riga Technical University (RTU), the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (LU CFI), the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Latvia (LU MII) the ambitious project "Quantum Technology Initiative" funded by the European Union’s Recovery Fund and the State budget.

The aim of the project is to strengthen Latvia's competitiveness in the field of quantum technologies by attracting and training high-level specialists and developing the knowledge base and skills in the field of high-tech in order to more successfully participate in the European and international research space, implement high-level research and promote the synergy of higher education, science and industry in the direction of innovation.
